What we were solving.
Athens Services had a gap in their senior leader onboarding experience. New leaders were coming in without a clear picture of the company, their role expectations, or the resources available to them. The result was a slow ramp-up period and inconsistent experiences depending on who was onboarding them. They needed a structured, polished playbook that every senior leader could receive on day one.
Approach
How we solved it.
I designed a comprehensive senior leader onboarding playbook in Adobe InDesign, partnering with Subject Matter Experts from the organization, that covered company history and culture, organizational structure, role-specific expectations, key contacts, and a 30/60/90 day plan framework. The document was designed to feel premium and intentional — something a new senior leader would actually want to keep on their desk. The results indicated up to a 60% increase in preparedness among leaders who complete the new onboarding experience.
